The theme of the One Day Away Retreat is Self Care – and with the help of you’re hosts your invited to explore different practices

  • Niomi (on the left) will be sharing some stress SOULutions (as outlined in her book) with you
  • Mardi (in the middle) will be sharing gentle yoga, meditation and other self care gems
  • Heather (on the right) will be inviting you to learn the ancient art of Qi Gong

Here’s what to bring

  • Bringing a yoga mat is optional. I’ll be sharing a gentle yoga session to begin our day – and I’ll offer chair and floor options. You’ll only need a mat if you choose to do yoga on the floor. I will bring some to share if you don’t mind sharing. There will be a deep relaxation session which is best done laying down, but can be done sitting too.
  • Notebook and pen if you like to take notes – but isn’t essential
  • Blanket for relaxation/comfort is recommended as your body temp can drop when sitting/laying still – and is good for comfort and feeling snuggly 🙂
  • Comfortable clothes for relaxing. There are no specific clothes, lounging clothes are good – and layers to suit your personal warmth preferences
  • Easy to remove shoes/slipper/ugg boots. You will be asked to remove your shoes when entering the main room – but will need them for the dining room and outside
  • Travel mug with lid is optional but can be helpful if you’re wanting to bring your cuppa with you. Mugs are provided in dining room only
  • An open mind & your smile 🙂 most important is to bring yourself open and ready to relax

Hi, I’m Mardi MAY

Like you I’ve often struggled with the craziness of life – even with over 15 years of personal yoga practice.

And what I’ve discovered is that the more ‘me time’ I prioritise, the happier I am. So in 2015 I changed direction and began hosting meditation and yoga classes and retreats.

Since then I’ve helped over 200 people relax more and stress less – it’s been amazing to see and hear about the effects that these simple techniques  have.

This stuff can literally change your life!
