“Journaling is like whispering to one’s self,

and listening at the same time”.

Mina Murray

I love notebooks. I love the art of putting pen to paper and getting what’s inside my head OUT – and into the real world.

And it’s interesting to read that there are ACTUAL health benefits to journaling – including things like releasing stress and anxiety.

And it doesn’t need to take long – just a few minutes a day as part of your SPIRIT Morning practices can do wonders.

Here’s some ideas….

Try this ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if….’ process from ‘Ask & it is given’ by Abraham:

  1. Take a few moments to sit and bring your awareness to your breath for a few minutes

  2. When you’re ready, begin a page in a notebook with the prompt – ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if…..’

  3. Continue prompting each sentence, or paragraph with ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if…

  4. When complete reflect for a few minutes before resuming your day

I hope you enjoy.

In gratitude,

Mardi MAY
